INCOBRA has organised a webinar to let Brazilian and European R&I actors interact with the funding agencies involved in the EUREKA Globalstars Call with Brazil*. 

The online session was moderated by Chiara Davalli (EBN), who provided an overview about INCOBRA and its core activities.

Jorge Liz (EUREKA Network) then presented the EUREKA Network and the overall concept, objective and scope of the globalstars programme, while Irina Slosar presented the spefic criteria, deadlines and recommendations for the Brazilian one.

*BACKGROUND INFO ABOUT THE CALL

The Global Stars programme was designed and launched in 2016 with the aim to increase internationalisation activities of the EUREKA members and to enable R&D collaboration with countries outside the network. With this 4th call, EUREKA aimed to build innovation bridges with Brazil.

Seven funding agencies in Europe (DLR in Germany, FFG in Austria, bpiFrance in France, CDTI in Spain, RVO in the Netherlands, Vlaio in Belgium and SERI in Switzerland) and three Brazilian agencies (FINEP, FAPESP and EMBRAPII) are participating in the recent Globalstars Brazil Call, which will be open for proposals until 31st October.

The call is open for all thematic areas; the consortium should include at least one Brazilian and one (profit-oriented, independent) company of another EUREKA member country participating in the call. Participation of research institutes and universities is welcome according to each country’s funding regulations. The project must benefit all involved partners and generate an added value through the technological cooperation between the participants.
