The second edition of the INCOBRA (Info Session) event will be held at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) on October 27th, 2017, addressing the theme of Responsible research and innovation: An opportunity for scientific exchange.
The Info Session is part of PUCRS´s TTO (Technology Transfer Office) event which aims to promote a debate with renowned Brazilian and international experts on specific subjects related to the areas of 'Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer', focusing on the improvement of skills of these professionals and also improving the performance of Brazilian scientific and technological institutions.
The event will target executives, entrepreneurs, innovators, researchers, administrators and professionals from scientific and technological institutions. In addition, the event will also be open for anyone interested in learning more about the internal aspects of business management.
INCOBRA info session intends to contribute to the discussion of Responsible, Research and Innovation (RRI), particularly under the perspective that RRI may be a triggering topic for EU-Brazil scientific cooperation, proportioning additional opportunities for exchanges, visits, mutual learning and collaborative activities.
In the same direction, the INCOBRA Info Session will consider the issue of Open data and Intellectual Property Rights, considering that elements of ‘Open Science’ will also gradually feed into the shaping of a policy for Responsible Research and Innovation and contribute to the implementation of the European Research Area and the Innovation Union, the two main flagship initiatives for research and innovation.
