The Financier of Studies and Projects (Finep) and the Swedish Agency for Innovation (Vinnova) launched a joint a public call to encourage strategic research and development partnerships for innovation in the aviation industry. The funds will be non-refundable, with R$ 1 million from Finep and 3 million Swedish crowns by Vinnova. The electronic form for proposals (FAP) will be available on August 22 and bids must be sent by 11 November this year.
The notice aims to support projects designed in cooperation between scientific institutions, Technological and Innovation (ICTs) and Brazilian and Swedish companies, whose goals are in line with the thematic lines presented in the public call. Vinnova will finance the companies and Swedish ICT while Finep will support companies and Brazilian ICTs.
Projects will be selected in the following areas of expertise: Aeronautical Engineering, particularly in propulsion; and Aeronautics with the use of sensors to improve the systems and functions. The selection process will consist of a single step, in which proposals will be evaluated on the form and the contents.
