Fundação de Amparo à Ciência e Tecnologia de Pernambuco (Facepe), the Institut National de Recherche en Informatique et Automatique (Inria) and the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), through the Institut des Sciences de l'Information et de leur Interactions (INS2i), launched a call in sciences and information and communication technologies (CTIC), totaling R $ 240,000. The aim is to support joint research projects, development and innovation (RD & I) under bilateral international science and technology cooperation. Interested parties must submit proposals by 30 September.
PhD researchers linked to character-based institutions of education, scientific or technological areas, public or not for profit located in Pernambuco may submit proposals to Facepe. The proponent must have an employment / functional link to the executing institution. Researchers, research groups and experts linked to institutions based in the states that joined the call must submit corresponding proposal in Foundations of Research (FAPs) of their respective states.
The areas of research in CTIC include, in particular, data processing; communication and storage of information; signal, data and knowledge processing; modeling and simulation; hardware and software technologies; the design, verification and optimization of software components; the design, command and control of complex systems; and man-machine interfaces.
