CALL PROMOTES PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN BRAZILIAN AND FOREGNERS RESEARCHERS.

The State Foundation for Research Support from the State of São Paulo (FAPESP) launched the 2016 Call for the São Paulo Researchers in International Collaboration (Sprint), with budget of US$ 10 thousand per year for 2 year’ projects. The aim of the Call is to promote engagement of researchers from Higher Education Institutions from the State of São Paulo with partners from other countries, to conduct projects of medium and long term. The call is open until October 31st.
The call can receive proposals from researchers from São Paulo to work with the international partners, which FAPESP does not have valid international agreement. In this case, the responsible researcher shall submit to FAPESP not just the documentation regarding the research proposal, but also a proof of availability of funding counterpart from the respective country.
The eligibility of the Call is directed to researchers responsible for existing grants from FAPESP available for regular research, thematic project or at the programmes for Young Researchers in Emerging Centres, Research, Innovation and Diffusion Centre (Cepid), Public Education Improvement Programme, Research Program in Public Policy and Support Programme for Research Partnership for Technological Innovation (Pite).
FAPESP will approve only the proposals in which the financial counterpart presented within the proposal is applicable and compatible within the objectives of the SPRINT Programme. For the proposals related to the Pite grant, the coordinator must present a letter from the company that will co-fund the project. The Call only accepts the submission of one proposal per researcher and per already existing research project.
