The São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and the Foundation for Science and Technology of Portugal (FCT) launched a new call for research proposals, with resources for funding up to R$ 70 thousand. Projects will be selected and supported in any area of knowledge. The submission period ends on May 17.
Collaborative projects funded can last up to 36 months. Each proposal must have a responsible researcher in the state of São Paulo and one in Portugal. The presentation of the proposals can be made exclusively through the FCT website by the responsible researcher in Portugal.
Are considered eligible only proponents of the State of São Paulo to be researchers responsible for existing aid on FAPESP in the modality Research Support - Thematic Project or in the Young Researchers programs (YR) in Emerging Centers and Centers of Research, Innovation and Dissemination (CEPID). Principal researchers for thematic projects and current Cepids are also eligible for submission of proposals.
It is mandatory for the researchers in the State of São Paulo to consult FAPESP about their eligibility for submission of proposals in this call. Proposals without the eligibility letter issued by the institution will not be received by FCT. Eligibility queries should be sent to the e-mail [email protected].
This is the second call for proposals between FAPESP and FCT. The first resulted in the selection of 10 research projects that were funded by the institutions.
