From the 24th till the 26th April 2017, INCOBRA participated to EARMA conference 2017.
About EARMA
EARMA (European Association of Research Managers and Administrators) represents the community of Research Managers and Administrators (RM&As) in Europe. EARMA members work in industry, academia, the public and private sectors. They work with the EU Commission, national and international funding agencies. EARMA provides a networking forum, a learning platform, and a place to share experiences and best practice among RM&As throughout EARMA and in the wider RM&A community.
Every year EARMA organizes an event mainly targeting research managers and administrators from all across Europe and beyond.

INCOBRA applied and was selected to run a session on April 26th afternoon (15:10-16:10):
Brazil: Steps forward to H2020!
Brazilian co-funding schemes to further enhance cooperation between the EU and Brazil in research & innovation.
The INCOBRA session aimed at presenting the Brazilian R&I Landscape and the actual cooperation mechanisms and schemes available at bilateral and multilateral level. Speakers presented challenges and opportunities of EU-BR cooperation and drew some considerations on how further improve it for the mutual benefit of Brazilian and European R&I actors.
The session was moderated by Sara Medina, SPI and involved the following speakers:
- Julio Cesar Imenes, Deputy Head of the International Cooperation Department at The Brazilian Innovation Agency, FINEP (www.finep.gov.br)
- Chiara Davalli, Project Manager at European Business Innovation Centre Network, EBN (www.ebn.eu)
- Berna Windischbaur, Expert International STI Cooperation at The Austrian Research Promotion Agency, FFG (www.ffg.at)
