The SIA attracts every year around 700 000 visitors. Besides urban audiences from the Paris area, the fair also attracts technical specialist, farmers and policy experts.
DG Agriculture and Rural Development (DG AGRI) and DG Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE) will be present with a stand on the theme “From farm to fork - sustainable food for a healthy lifestyle”. The EU’s added value in ensuring safe and sustainable food for all European citizens will be highlighted.
